Conditioner®

  • Redmond Conditioner® is an all-natural volcanic clay that comes from our mineral deposit in Central Utah. It also contains our full spectrum of trace minerals and unique to Conditioner is its ability to improve gut health and nutrient absorption in livestock through binding toxins and buffering acid.

  • With its natural ability to bind toxins, such as mold in feed, the rumen can absorb more nutrients instead of being compromised by the toxins. Additionally, because of its high pH, it buffers acid in the rumen keeping the gut settled and comfortable.

  • Conditioner is a versatile and vital supplement for all classes of livestock.

Feed Toxin Binding

Feed toxins rob your farm of productivity and health. Whether you are looking to reduce feed toxins at the plant source, or bind to them internally, Redmond Conditioner has a solution for you. 4 separate corn silage farms used a mix of Redmond conditioner and minerals on their soil and greatly reduced how many toxins were entering the plant. For internal toxin control, the National Institute of Health has found that bentonite clay is an affordable and effective way to "selectively remove pathogens without reducing microbial richness and diversity in the gut."

More Complete Rumen Buffer than Bicarb

Redmond Conditioner is an effective acid buffer that offers more benefits than just sodium bicarbonate alone. Independent studies have found that our Conditioner not only balances gut pH as efficiently as bicarb, but also controls ammonia levels, binds to toxins, and improves fiber digestion.

Not sure I know how to use it. What quantity to mix with the feed? How do you get them to take it if you aren’t feeding daily? What exactly is it doing? I’m just feeding it because Mr Campbell said to. Be great if it had more extensive literature to go with it.

Hi James,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions! We recommend mixing 2-3 parts Redmond Mineral Salts with 1 part Conditioner. Depending on the size of cattle we recommend 2-3 oz for smaller cattle and 3-4 oz for beef cattle and dairy/ grean fed beef cattle 4-8 oz per head per day/or fed free choice. I have attached a few blog post from our website explaining the benefits of our Conditioner. Please explore our blogs for more information as well. Thank you for choosing Redmond and let us know if you have any other questions!
